My first full-fledged LOTR recreation was Eowyn's Shieldmaiden Gown from the Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King. I completed this gown on August 8, 2004, and featured it here on my main page for one year... Now, I've created a separate page for this dress, so I can use this page as an index... I opened this main page on August 18, 2005... New projects on their own pages are featured below... Click the images to visit!
J. R. R. Tolkien's Sanctifying Myth, Understanding Middle-earth, by Bradley J. Birzer, is a fascinating book about Mr. Tolkien and his relationship to God... I couldn't put it down... and wanted to share!
I have been a Tolkien fan for many years... And with some surprise, absolutely loved Peter Jackson's visualization of The Lord of the Rings epic put to film... The beautiful costumes in these movies, designed by Ngila Dickson, motivated me to learn how to sew, and that is where my costuming passion began.

I thank God for the joy of this gift... He is why I can!
I've opened a Makeup Page to document how I'm learning to transform my face for my male cosplay characters, Julien, Severus, Elrond, Prince Vlad and Ringo.
I've made a second set of Severus Snape Robes and Jacket for my dear friend, Logospilgrim, and have opened a Construction Page for her titled Logospilgrim's Robes. You can visit her web-site by clicking her photo here below...
Here is a link to a video my husband and I had made on Christmas Eve, 2006. This is the first time I have ever sang in public, at our Church, Pathways Community. My desire to do this came to me by total surprise, from the Holy Spirit; He wanted me to do this, to share with you.
On this page I'm documenting how I'm learning to apply makeup to achieve a masculine face for my male cosplay characters, Julien, Severus, Ringo and Elrond...
